Crystal Lewis has over fifteen years of experience in education. She is very passionate about teaching and learning. Mrs. Lewis began her educational career as a Substitute Teacher. Mrs. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Troy University and a Master of Elementary Education from Kingdom Truth University. Crystal Is currently working on her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at KTU. With over fifteen years of experience, Mrs. Lewis has taught second grade, first grade, and physical education. She has also had the opportunity to lead as a Reading and Instructional Specialist. She served as an Educational Technology Coordinator, assisting schools and teachers in her local school district with technology integration in all subject areas.

Crystal also specializes in reading instruction with an emphasis on remediation and closing the achievement gap, by utilizing data to drive instruction, and conduct teacher training through professional development, modeling, coaching, and feedback. Through this model, she helped to bring national recognition to her school district. Under her tutelage as a Reading Coach and Instructional Specialist, Meadowlane Elementary School in Phenix City, Alabama was a 2019 recipient of the National EASA Distinguished School Award. Meadowlane received the award in category two for closing the achievement gap between student groups. Ms. Lewis is currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at AIM Success Academy in the Muscogee County School District in Columbus, Georgia.
